The primary scientific interest of the Savatic Lab is to investigate the mechanisms that underlie the brain plasticity in health and disease. More specifically, we are interested in the mechanisms that lead to differentiation of neural progenitor cells into neuronal lineages, with the goal to apply this knowledge in animal models of human disease.
