About the GCRC

The General Clinical Research Center (GCRC), located on the 12th floor South Tower of the Stony Brook University Hospital, is a unit funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and is available to provide support, facilities and resources for the conduct of research involving human subjects.

We are a research center devoted to the improvement of health care for all communities. Together with other GCRCs we work for the improvement of care and treatment of diseases in patients seen by health care providers in the United States.
