Biostatistics Core

The biostatistical core provides the tools, educational resources and support necessary to undertake clinical research within the GCRC. The goals of the core are to assist investigators with the design, conduct, analysis and presentation of their GCRC approved projects. Our Biostatistical Core staff offer training and assistance in the following:

Biostatistics:

• Experimental design
• Sample size/power calculation
• Statistical analysis

Training:

• Designing a clinical study and determination of sample size
• Basic data analysis for clinical research studies
• Presenting research data at professional meetings and in journals
