Dawn is responsible for the day to day running of the Hormone Assay laboratory. This includes:

• Routine sample analysis
• Collating samples and scheduling
• Kit purchase (ordering, including radiation safety update)
• Organizing and numbering tubes and preparation of worksheet.
• Performance of radioimmunoassay or other procedures.
• Calculation of results and presentation in spreadsheet form.
• Discussion of results and quality control with Dr Garlick and Investigator.
• Cleaning lab, update radiation safety records.
• Laboratory maintenance.
• General purchasing, cleaning and instrument maintenance.
• Radiation safety monitoring.
