Dr. Gelato is the leader of the GCRC Program. She is responsible for the allocation of GCRC resources to promote utilization of the center by the faculty. Along with the support of other members of the GCRC team, she serve as a resource for investigators requiring guidance through the approval process (CORHIS, PRIT and GAC) and support for the implementation of their study through utilization of the GCRC and the center’s resources as well as evaluation of the data and analyzing study outcomes.

Dr. Gelato is ultimately responsible for the function and integrity of the research center.
