Tracy has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the delivery of quality patient care by expertly trained nursing staff with a high level of efficiency and effectiveness. She also provides leadership and serves as a role model for professional excellence in the GCRC, in the institution and within the nursing profession. Tracy establishes, implements and monitors:
- Standards of patient care
- Quality of nursing care
- CQI initiatives
- Cost-effective care delivery systems
- Utilization of resources
- Compliance with safety, environmental, confidentiality, hospital policy, and regulatory/licensing/accrediting agencies standards.
She also participates in the planning, implementation and administration of the annual budgetary processes.
